  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool.
    • Job Requirements
    • The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience.
    • TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DRIPS!!
    • Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.
    • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7-7.
      • Floating is required. Depending on skill level, nurses will float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, as well as all Tele units, MedSurg, any & every holding area. Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: CV Tele B3A - Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment.
        • Unit: A3 Neuro - Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment.
        • Unit: MedSurg C5 - Charge Nurse: Yes, does not take patients.
        • Unit: MedSurg B2C - Charge Nurse: Yes, does not take patients.
          • Additional Details
          • Tele B3A: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.
          • Tele Neuro: Common diagnosis/Types of patients include Neuro post surgical, post cranis, spine, CVAs post TPA.
          • Medical-Surgical C5: 80% Surgical, 20% Oncology.
          • Medical-Surgical B2C: General MedSurg patients that require tele.
