Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity
Specialist (Remote in Wisconsin/Michigan).
Key Responsibilities
Facilitates accurate documentation in medical records for patient
care and reimbursement
Performs extensive record reviews and interacts with healthcare
professionals
Participates in team meetings and educates staff on documentation
practices
Required Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in
Health Information Management
Five years of recent adult acute care experience or hospital
inpatient coding
Current state Registered Nurse license or active AHIMA credentials
(RHIA)
Preferred certifications include ACDIS (CCDS) or AHIMA (CCS)
Knowledge of pathophysiology, disease processes, and regulatory
requirements
