TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Chandler, Arizona, 85224 Pay Information $1,927 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; first to float Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent experience (within the past 6 months) License: Yes, required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Ability to read strips Job Description: - Medical-Surgical B2D - COVID Unit - 30-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio - Charge Nurse present; does not take patients - Nurse Aide support includes PCTs on days, 1 PCT or SWAT RN at night - Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks (days - Sat, Sun, nights - Fri, Sat); requires working one major and one minor holiday - Navy scrub color required - GE Telemetry monitors with a central monitoring station tech to read - Possible use of CPAP; must call physician for hospitalist or intensivist - No IV team, but SWAT Nurse available for difficult IV sticks - Round-the-clock Respiratory Therapy and Pharmacy support - 12-hour shifts from 7 to 7 - Floating to MedSurg Tele C5 and B2C units as needed - Floor-specific orientation includes 2 shifts on the floor - Typical patients include those with general and ortho trauma, chest tubes, drains, and wound vacs.
