Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 10 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a Senior Principal Cloud Architect, you'll help the MUOS Tools team plan and execute a transition to the cloud through architecture guidance, best practices, data migration, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and more. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Designing Cloud Architecture Executing Transitions from On-Prem to Cloud Building Hybrid Cloud Solutions Roles and Responsibilities: Design, plan, and lead a cloud transition Provide architectural support for cloud operations and expansions Coordinate with cybersecurity experts to build an authorizable architecture Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to build a Platform as a Service leveraging best-of-breed cloud solutions Create and review infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration as code (CaC) Conduct trade studies to transition legacy implementations to cloud native solutions What sets you apart: Creative thinker with demonstrated success leading transitions to cloud infrastructure Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success Exceptional communication, presentation, and influence management skills, with notable record of securing buy-in on concepts and ideas Experienced in the art of negotiation with ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others Our Commitment to You: An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. USD $174,553.60 - USD $193,645.40 /Yr.
