Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Product and Privacy
Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
Provide practical and actionable legal advice to cross-functional
teams on product development, compliance, data privacy, and AI
usage
Monitor and interpret changes to relevant laws and policies,
assessing risk and implementing necessary changes
Create and implement policies to ensure consistent legal guidance
and alignment on risks
Required Qualifications
At least 7 years of legal experience, including 2 years in-house
with product and engineering teams
Strong mix of legal, technical, and business acumen to discuss
complex technical issues
Deep understanding of automotive regulations and industry trends in
U.S., Canadian, and European markets
JD from a recognized U.S. law school and licensed to practice in at
least one U.S. jurisdiction
Experience with data privacy laws and regulations, and managing
AI-related legal considerations is a plus
