Job Description:
Job Summary: The Master Scheduler will coordinate schedules and
inventories to ensure efficient and effective operation of the
assigned department or facility. Supervisory
Responsibilities:Oversees the Inventory Management personnel.
Duties: Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with
sales, supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering
departments.Collaborates with these departments to establish
schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve
customer needs, internal and external.Develop and maintains a
Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning
(MRP) through the ERP system, and as applicable.Integrates sales
orders through the MPS to delineate what products will be produce,
when and in what quantities.Links sales demand with material
availability and manufacturing capacity to create a realistic plan
that minimizes overstock while maximizing on-time delivery and
revenue output. Uses judgment to anticipate demand for and to
acquire additional supplies as required.Participates in periodic
Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) cycle; leads additional
planning meetings with sales, manufacturing, supply chain,
engineering staff.Manages safety stock levels of critical
components and assemblies.Performs other related duties, as
required.Skills/Qualifications:Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to
detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Relationship
building skills, and adaptability.Thorough understanding of the
supply chain.Strong knowledge of ERP systems and BI tools, such as
SAP, Syspro, etc. Costpoint is a plus.High proficiency with
Microsoft Excel, power BI. Tableau experience is a must.Lean
manufacturing methodologies experience. (Kanban, PFEP, supermarket,
etc.)Education and Experience:Three to five years of production and
materials planning experience in a manufacturing environment.BS
degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field is
required. Additional work experience in lieu of a degree may be
considered.Professional certification by the American Production
and Inventory Control Society (APICS) in CPIM certification is a
plus. Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and
working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at
times.Dress up for Cleanroom environment, as needed. Leonardo is an
