The Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community.

The Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager will report directly to the Obstetrics Director. Supported by an assistant manager and several tenured charge nurses, this person will lead a fantastic team and busy department with state of the art technology, a unique and natural patient centered approach, and seasoned staff devoted to quality care.

The Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager will be in charge of overseeing that care provided by nurses is efficient and thorough. This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with the Director, physicians and Midwives to achieve the highest level of operational and clinical efficiency that aligns with the hospital's standards and values. The Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager will also have opportunities to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.
