Job Description:
A company is looking for a Telephonic Case Manager Medical Bill
Reviewer.
Key Responsibilities
Review Workers' Compensation provider medical bills for cost
containment and compliance with state fee schedules
Document activities and manage correspondence related to medical
bill reviews
Analyze and recommend payments to medical providers based on
statutory rules and guidelines
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of three years of clinical
experience in various hospital specialty units
At least one year of experience in Florida Workers' Compensation
case management
Minimum of two years' experience in Utilization Review, preferably
in Workers' Compensation
Knowledge of Florida Workers' Compensation Laws, fee schedules, and
coding procedures (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business
software
