  • Job Requirements
  • B3A - Cardiopulmonary Telemetry & Neuro - MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED, NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Unit: B3B - CHF Telemetry - 2 years minimum experience, required
  • Must have skills: EKG monitoring
  • Common titratable &/or set rate drips - cardiac, heparin, Lasix, bumex, etc.
  • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor does not take patient assignment
  • RN must be able to interpret EKGs
    • Schedule Information
    • Self Scheduling, 12 hr shifts. 7-7.
    • Every other weekend
    • 2 major holidays, 2 minor depending on contract dates
    • No 'On Call' - SB dependant on fluctuating census
      • Unit Specific Information
      • EKG monitoring
      • Required to titrate drips
      • Charge Nurse with no patient assignment
      • RN aids - PCTs ratio
      • Required to interpret EKGs
      • Self Scheduling and Block scheduling
        • Additional Details
        • Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs prior to acceptance of position - 2 MAXIMUM ATTEMPTS, ONLY - NO EXCEPTIONS, NO 3RD ATTEMPT ALLOWED
        • **There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation**
        • Floating Requirements: Yes - to any tele floor
        • Scrub Color/Dress code: Navy
        • Unit/Department specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.
