qualified Neuro RN in Phoenix, Arizona, 85013 Pay Information
$2,144 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job
Specialty: Neuro ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights,
2 weekends per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidays Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
required in a large (450) Level 1 Trauma center. Must have 6 months
of travel experience. License: License required to submit
Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Level 1 Trauma experience -
EVD experience - Strong neuro assessment skills and ICP monitoring
experience Job Description: - Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to
acceptance. Travelers have 2 attempts and must pass on day 1. -
SIMs Lab completion required for Foley catheter insertion & central
line dressing changes. - NyICU only requires Foley catheter
insertion. - ED does Foley catheter insertion and port-a-cath
insertion. - Must maintain sterile field; failure to do so may
result in termination. - Additional training on lifts, restraints,
& wound care. - 32-bed Neuro ICU with 1:2 ratios. - Hospital
performs craniotomies, brain tumor removal and ablations, brain
biopsies, complicated spine surgeries, and scoliosis repair. -
Expectation to float between all ICU floors and Tele Units with a
4:1 patient load on Tele. - Charge nurse available but does not
take patients. - Charting system: Cerner - Required to work
holidays as part of the core staff rotation. - Candidates must be
competent in skills frequently performed, with an emphasis on
sterile field maintenance. - Cancellation policy: Hospital may
cancel up to 3 times per contract, either full or partial shift.
