  • Job Details
  • THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FULL 3 YEARS OF ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.
  • The right candidate will have 3 full years of current ICU experience and hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and AZ license or compact license.
  • Travelers could also float to the sister facility Mercy Gilbert, if needed.
  • Typically, every other weekend is required but might have to work 3 weekends a month if unit is busy and needs extra coverage.
    • Job Requirements
    • A FULL 3 YEARS OF RECENT ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
    • Experience must also include EITHER neuro or CV.
    • UNA Dysrhythmia Exam required
    • Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts.
    • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval.
      • Schedule Information
      • Self scheduling.
      • Manager may need to balance shifts for unit needs.
      • Weekend Requirements: 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.
      • Nightshift weekends are Friday - Saturday. Dayshift are Saturday - Sunday.
      • Holiday Requirements: May have 1 holiday off in an assignment
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: Medical ICU - Medical Cardiac + Overflow
        • Charge Nurse: Yes, do not take patients
        • Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes, 24/7
        • RT in ICU 24/7: Yes
        • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Level 1 trauma Center, sepsis, ARDS, etc.
          • Additional Details
          • NO ADDITIONAL CALL/STANDBY SHIFTS REQUIRED.
          • May be low censused up to 3 times per contract depending on unit needs.
