  • Requires strong cardiac tele background
  • Nurses will care for tele patients primarily
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum 2 years of recent experience
    • Must pass dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
    • Must be able to titrate cardiac drips per physician orders
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hr shifts (7a - 7p or 7p - 7a)
      • Ability to self-schedule, subject to change
      • Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule
      • Holiday Requirement: Rotate in with permanent staff
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 2 shifts orientation to Med/Surg/Tele at primary campus
        • Will care for patients from the ER waiting on a bed in the hospital
        • May assist with ED patients including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration
          • Additional Details
          • Common diagnoses: ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele
          • Nurses must be able to read & interpret strips
          • No call required
          • Floating to med/surg/tele/overflow units as needed
