  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience and will be working in various units across the facility including Tele Neuro and MedSurg units. Frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert, is required. Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam and a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2+ years of current tele experience
    • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD
    • Travelers must be able to titrate drips
    • Ability to interpret EKGs
    • Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting
    • Complete a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hr shifts. 7-7
      • Every other weekend requirement
      • Floating to similar or lower acuity
      • Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor
      • May be floating between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses with notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start
      • 4 weekend shifts per 4 week period
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Each unit has specific orientation, ratios, and shift requirements
        • Charge Nurse present in all units
        • Centralized telemetric monitoring
          • Additional Details
          • Must be able to titrate cardiac drips
          • Will float between all Tele and MedSurg units
          • Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start
          • Floating to different units mid-shift can happen
