TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Gilbert, Arizona, 85297 Pay Information $1,903 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required to submit Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Strong cardiac telemetry background, ability to read and interpret strips, and previous experience adjusting cardiac drips per physician's orders. Job Description: - Provide care for telemetry patients, primarily those with cardiac conditions. - Must pass a dysrhythmia exam and a simulation lab on the first day of orientation; failure results in a 6-month disqualification. - Work in emergency department holding areas for patients waiting placement on appropriate units. - Responsibilities include managing cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone. - Titrate medication and monitor patient vitals as per physicians' orders and parameters. - Support the emergency department staff with tasks such as taking vitals, starting IVs, and medication administration. - Engage in a collaborative work environment with ED Charge Nurse, PCTs, and other nursing staff. - Adhere to a weekend and holiday rotation schedule. - Willingness to float to medical/surgical and other units as needed. - Participate in a 2-shift orientation to familiarize with med/surg/tele settings. - Adapt to potential changes in self-scheduling.
