Job Description:
A company is looking for a Manager of HIM Optimization &
Technology Services.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the operation and maintenance of HIM and Coding software
systems, ensuring reliability and effectiveness
Oversee Computer Assisted Coding system operations and collaborate
with vendors to maintain software functionality
Develop and deliver training modules for end users on system
capabilities and functionalities
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management or a related
field
Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Health Information
Technician (RHIT) registration required
Typically requires 5 years of experience in coding and health
information management, including 1 year of supervisory
experience
Demonstrated knowledge of coding systems and third-party
reimbursement programs
Proficiency in Epic and other databases, as well as Microsoft
Office Suite
