Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Information Security.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy aligned
with regulatory requirements
Establish and maintain policies to ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and report on the information security
program
Lead security risk assessments and manage incident response
procedures, including disaster recovery tests
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or
related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a
plus
8+ years of IT security experience, with at least 3 years in a
leadership role in a healthcare or regulated industry
In-depth knowledge of HIPAA and HITECH regulations is mandatory
Familiarity with network security and cloud infrastructure, as well
as cybersecurity best practices
Experience in conducting risk assessments and audits
