RoleThe role of RHO is a leadership position that entails overall
responsibility for managing and driving operations, with a focus on
ensuring road-safety of the fleet, availability of vehicles,
efficiency of overall operations, and the management and
performance of the team. You will be tasked with building and
leading teams from Ride Hailing Operations (RHO), Fleet Development
& Readiness (FDR), and the Incident Response Team (IRT) in order to
meet our ambitious goals.What You'll be DoingOwning the day-to-day
operations execution in order to drive maximum availability of our
fleet:
- Own and manage the P&L, including a specific focus on
driving cost efficiencies and opportunities to drive operational
excellence.
- Overall responsibility and management of vehicle fleet and
infrastructure, including identification of new infrastructure to
support fleet expansion.
- Plan, process, and execute approved vehicle deliveries from our
AV Partners.
- Drive the performance of the fleet working to core KPI's
reflecting our vehicle availability and readiness.
- Write the operations playbook, implement core processes, and
hold team members accountable to performance against SOP's,
building on Kaizen frameworks and processes.
- Ensure fleet operations are in compliance with local and state
rules and regulations.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained properly, including registering
and licensing of all vehicles under your management.
- Liaise with our AV Partner as the operational owner, and own
the strategic partnership.
- Handle escalations and manage conflict resolutions with our AV
Partner to the highest degree of satisfaction.
- Comply with AV Partner's environmental standards - acting as
the ultimate custodian for safety, and building a safety
culture.
- Manage any outsourcing partners.Leading a high-performing team
and demonstrating strong leadership abilities by:
- Designing your organisation for stellar performance; building
and managing high calibre teams that are engaged and
productive.
- Scaling Moove's AV's business operations by leading daily,
weekly, and monthly operations calls.
- Establishing mechanisms and forums for reporting and tracking
progress against key business metrics for company-wide
consumption.
- Designing and managing a business performance scorecard and
team/individual performance targets.
- Liaising with peers and cross-functional teams within the
company to share knowledge and optimise operations.What You will
need for this position
- Strong preference for someone who is experienced with Kaizen
framework and processes.
- Analytical mindset and first-rate problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with and strong preference to use AI tools to run
operations and solve problems rather than hiring headcount.
- Availability and willingness to work outside of normal office
hours.
- A relevant Degree with preference shown for but not exclusive
to Fleet/Mobility/Logistics/ Engineering/Operations/Operations
Management.
- Prior team leadership experience is a must with examples of
building/growing high performing teams.
- Ideally 10+ years of similar experience in operations across EV
fleet, logistics or supply functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the
ability to simplify complex concepts and present at all levels
within the organisation.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen with proven
experience of managing third party/supplier relationships.
- Outstanding organisational skills with a track record of
managing organisational systems.
- Growth oriented with an ability to work autonomously in a
decentralised organisation.
