Location: Chandler, AZ
Hours/Schedule: 1st shift
Type: Contract

Responsibilities
Provides engineering support to a manufacturing process, project or function. Evaluates manufacturing outcomes and implements continuous improvements and cost efficiencies. Supports NPI and new equipment/process introductions.
The manufacturing engineer will work on production lines that have been a part of a manufacturing transfer.
The sending site processes will be sent two different locations.
The disassembly and cleaning tasks will be in one facility and the assembly, functional testing, and packaging will be at another.
The yield investigations/ troubleshooting may involve processes in the Chandler, Lakeland and TJ sites.
Reprocessing of surgical devices
Trace dips in yield back to the point of origin and develop countermeasures to improve/stabilize the process.


Requirements BS Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
3 - 5 years of experience
The candidate should be able to troubleshoot simple electrical/mechanical systems.
The candidate will need to be able to work well in cross functional team settings.
