Job Description:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a
related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2
years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. CLEARANCE
REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is
preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a
TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of
hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government
security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for
access to classified information. Due to the nature of work
performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. ROLE
AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As an RF Engineer, you will be involved in
both hardware testing and designing solutions for Space Satellite
Systems, leveraging advanced simulation tools and specialized lab
setups to achieve exceptional RF performance while navigating the
strict physical constraints and environmental conditions of launch
and space. You will collaborate closely with System Engineering to
ensure seamless integration of RF designs with the overall system,
and with Mechanical Engineers to address thermal management
challenges. In addition, you will work alongside Manufacturing to
align on process capabilities and with Supply Chain to mitigate any
sourcing issues. A critical part of your role will be supporting
hardware testing to validate both the electrical and thermal
integrity of the design, using a combination of simulations and
hands-on lab measurements. You will also ensure that the design
incorporates radiation-hardened components suitable for space
environments. As part of the Space Qualification process, you will
perform comprehensive testing, including parts screening,
design-margin analysis, derating, thermal testing, vacuum testing,
vibration testing, and material analysis, to confirm the system's
operational integrity during launch and throughout its space

seek an RF Engineer having hands-on experience with: Board/module
level design of RF circuits to specific performance criteria, and
physical constraints, Simulation and modelling using CAE Tools such
as Keysight ADS, Ansys HFSS, Matlab, etc. Hands-on prototyping
skills, performance tuning, and characterization of RF circuit
performance in the lab. Setting up and operating specialized RF lab
bench setups In this role, you will have substantial contribution
to: Analysis and/or definition of electrical requirements, RF
performance, components, and interfaces. Formulating, evaluating,
implementing solutions to technical issues Research and Design of
new technologies applicable to Space Payloads Evaluation of vendor
capability, Technical content of new business proposals Travel may
be required: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 1. Preference will be
given to individuals with hands-on expertise in three or more of
the following areas: RF, EM, and thermal simulation and modelling
> 3years of RF product development for performance oriented
applications Systems-level understanding of RF front-ends into
complex digital radio systems Space Payload electronics TS/SCI
Secret security clearance within 24 months of hire 2. Awareness of
how Engineering contributes to Business achieving objectives 3.
Familiar with RF simulation and modelling tools such as Keysight
