Job Title:Project ManagerLocation:CityScapeWhat you'll do:As a
Project Manager in the Enterprise Project Management Office "EPMO",
you will play a vital role in aiding the successful execution of
critical enterprise projects to realize enterprise goals and
objectives by working closely with EPMO and IT project managers to
develop detailed project plans and related documents. You will be
responsible for planning and monitoring the progress of projects
throughout their life cycles, working with the project managers and
key stakeholders to help determine and document project scope,
create work schedules, and evaluate resource capacity. You will aid
the project managers to coordinate tasks and track the completion
of scheduled tasks and activities to prevent delays. You will be
exposed to a wide variety of enterprise projects and will build a
strong working knowledge of project management and successful
delivery techniques.What we are looking for:
- Project Planning, Scheduling and Monitoring: Collaborate with
project team members to build and maintain project plans,
timelines, milestones, and tasks. Maintain and update project
schedules, ensuring all tasks are assigned and completed on time.
Review and monitor project timelines and recommend adjustments as
needed to ensure the project stays on schedule.
- Communication and coordination: Ensure key project artifacts
are correct and kept for review and presentation. This includes
collecting and storing key governance artifacts for phase gate
reviews. Document meeting notes, summarize and distribute to
project team.
- Resource Allocation: Maintain knowledge of resource
allocations. Track allocations to keep leadership informed to
ensure the right team members are assigned to tasks. Monitor and
report resource availability, over-allocation and trends related to
resource assignments.
- Issues and Risk Management: Monitor, document, and track the
status of issues and risk mitigation activities against their
target completion dates.
- Invoice Reviews: Work with the project manager to confirm
invoice payment requests reflect proper billing amounts for the
scope of work that has been completed.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain and store project
documentation, including project plans, project artifact documents,
status reports and project budgets. Generate regular project status
reports for project manager review.What you need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business
management, finance, or Technology.
- 5+ years of applicable experience in Banking preferably in
technology project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with project schedules, process design and
collaborating with cross functional teams.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to be flexible with adapting requested changes to
project scope and schedule.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic
environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (Workfront
Preferred).
- Knowledge of project management and IT software development
methodologies (Waterfall/SDLC/Agile/Scrum).Benefits you'll love:We
